Hampton Inn & Suites Huntsville Downtown

This place was perfect. Other Hilton owners should take note. The room was extremely clean and new. The breakfast was awesome. The service was awesome. The mini store food was affordable and not marked up a billion dollars. Lastly, the gym was insane. Never seen a gym equipped that well for this type of hotel. 5 stars all around!

We were in town for an event at the Vin Braun. We had 2 rooms and stayed overnight. Check-in was great, the rooms were great, the breakfast was great, everything was extremely clean, and everyone was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the shampoo and other toiletries were top notch! Lol I usually bring my own but forgot them this time but fell in love with what they had there...full sized bottles of everything. Nothing at all to complain about here!! Will stay again when in the area.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Downtown Huntsville January 9-11, 2026. Check in was quick and painless. At check in, they had the cutest hot chocolate bar set up, and the lobby was decorated for Valentine's Day. We made our way to our room which was very clean, and up to date with plenty of plugs throughout the room. The beds were comfortable, and the AC could actually be cranked down unlike a lot of hotels. This hotel is dog friendly, and they had an excellent dog walking area with waste bags to pick up after your pet. I utilized the gym 2 times while there and was truly impressed with the amount of equipment in the hotel gym. I have actually never stayed anywhere with that nice of a full gym. We got up each morning and enjoyed fresh continental breakfast. You definitely need to get there early as they were not quick to resupply anything once it ran out. There were a few warm options as well as items like fruit, yogurt, and toast. All tasted fresh. This hotel is within easy walking distance to the convention centers. The location was excellent as we did not even take our car of the parking garage once, we were able to walk to lunch, dinner, and my daughters cheer competition. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hampton. Staff was great. Didn't know about paying for parking until getting there. All of Huntsville has paid parking.

We have stayed at a lot of Hilton hotels and this one was great! Rooms were clean, hotel atmosphere was great. Staff has excellent customer service! This was also very conveniently located by the Tinsel Trail and Ice skating at Christmas.

We stayed at this location during some events. Not sure what events but we knew because the parking deck was always full. Such a joke. Parking really needs to be separated from event parking. Parking for event was $5 but we were charged $18. Hotel was nice and clean. Rooms were clean. Breakfast could use a few more options as I felt it was kind of lacking. Service when we checked in was terrible. The man at the desk was rude and we felt very rushed as if we were not welcome. We had two room as we had a parry of 6. We rode in together but the mam at desk questioned us when we told him we only needed to pay for one car. Very rude. I couldn't ask a question with a smart remark. The bartender Saturday night was very nice and friendly and handled the crowd well.

The location of this hotel is really great as it’s to a lot of venues and very walkable. The parking garage is attached to the building which was really convenient. We were there during a graduation weekend which was not ideal, but we still found parking in the garage. The king suite was very spacious. The room appeared to be very clean. The text component for service requests was very quick and efficient. The few items I feel that this hotel could improve on are providing better towels (the towels were very thin and scratchy as noted in previous reviews), having a set bar schedule as they were not open on Saturday night which seemed really ridiculous, and having a better food selection in their convenience area. There were very few selections and most were picked through already. Overall, it’s a nice, clean hotel in a seemingly safe area and very close to most everything you may want to walk to.
